Kristi Coon, CN-BA

I have been working at Minneapolis Radiology since 2009.  Over the years, I have enjoyed providing comfort and care to our patients and their families.  I think it is so important to establish a connection and be that familiar voice or face.

In my free time I enjoy cheering on my son in his sporting events; lacrosse, baseball and golf.  I also enjoy outdoor activities, water sports, running and nutrition.

I started with Minneapolis Radiology in 2023 and have thoroughly enjoyed working with all our patients. I enjoy being there for them and providing them comfort and support through all their needs. I think establishing a connection with patients is vital in providing them with the best care possible.

In my free time I am usually spending time with friends and family. Usually if I am not doing that I am traveling to new places, trying new foods and learning new things.

I first started working at Minneapolis Radiology (MRA) in October 2012 at our original Robbinsdale office. Since then I have worked at our multiple locations but now I primarily work at The Breast Center of Maple Grove and The Imaging Center of Plymouth.

I have been a Radiology Tech since 2010, Mammography Tech since 2015, and am also a Breast Health Patient Navigator. I really enjoy breast health and the world of mammography. I love providing companionate patient care though out their visit at The Breast Center. Breast health can be a very stressful process so I love being a reassuring force for the patient and their families.

I love spending my free time with my family and friends. My husband and I have two kids and we spend most of our time chasing them around. We love spending our time outside hiking, at the Zoo with the kids, and traveling when we can. When I get time for myself I love being creative. My current projects include embroidery, coloring and painting.

Imaging Director

I began working at Minneapolis Radiology in 2007. I have experience in several areas of radiology- mammography, general radiography, and CT. I have been the clinic manager for The Breast Center of Maple Grove, Imaging Centers of Maple Grove & Plymouth since 2013. I have always enjoyed working with patients to help make their exam as comfortable and easy as possible. Now that I am a manager, I miss direct interaction with patients but I hope I can influence decisions that truly make a positive difference for them.

When I am not working, I enjoy relaxing with friends and family, spending time on the lake, and traveling as much as possible.
